- My name is Ryan. I study history and historiography at Tyndale University in Toronto. I've tried and failed at blogging before, and I hope to be able to maintain this with some semblance of regularity. I was born in North Bay, and have lived in a few different countries. For the past three years I've been living and working in Toronto. I love this city, and I don't know how much longer I'll be able to stay here, so I moved downtown to immerse myself in the experience. I am engaged to a superb girl named Rachel. She is awesome, and I become awesome by association. She is a sensible, practical foil to my lofty daydreams, and she inspires me to be the man I feel I ought and want to be. If I had to pick a doubles partner for almost anything it would be her. Except beach volleyball, 'cuz she's short.
